I have been doing 10 sit-ups every time I post on the forums.

I'll be going into the middle of the third week come New Years. So far, I've done just under 100 sit-ups per day. I feel like I've been getting a pretty good work out, and my strength is already seeing results (including learning the action for a sit-up ... people that work out will understand).

I'm gonna *try* to keep track of how many I do, because as a human, I'm bound to forget a couple sets here and there. I can only image if I had started at 4000 posts. I would have already done over 3500 sit-ups in the last month or so!

I'm taking both a resting, and a flexing photo of my abs every two weeks. Although most people agree that significant size changes in muscle happen after three months, toning, shaping and other changes like weight loss can have visible changes between a couple weeks.

As of my last edit, I am 1250 sit-up closer to getting abs'o'steel.

Haha, the only foreseeable problem arises when I'm NG around my friends, or in the library.

I'd like to do them right away, but saving them for later seems like the only option... hopefully that doesn't lead to slacking.

I've been a runner and an athlete all of my life. I'm also only touching 150 pounds at 6 feet. So, the effects of working out show almost instantly on my body.

I'll probably post an updated photo every two weeks.

How're you doing them?

I'm doing those ones where you go about 1/3 to your knees, hold it for 3 and back down, crunches I think they're called?

Tempted to just go to knees, so much quicker.

I've got a towel jammed under my bed frame so it doesn't hurt my feet, and I do full sit-ups.

They're pretty quick, but when you get to doing sets of 40-50 it can be tiring, and I definitely feel like I've done a work-out once I relax at night.

I'm going to do this from now on, but I'm going to end up doing like 300 a day according to my posting habits... Oh well, it's better for track, right?

I had that about a week ago, but I gained 10 lbs. Still ok though, I'm 6ft and 164 lbs.

Agreed. Most BMI's put me at borderline underweight, and body fat percentage tests have revealed I'll be one of the first to die when food runs out.

Besides, on percentage, those of us that are just a little bit between overweight and average weight are the most likely to live the longest.

I think we both may just have hypoglycemia or fast metabolisms.

My silly metabolism will give me a heart attack one day. I eat whatever foods I feel like, fatty or not, and I'm sure my arteries love me for it.

i think ill start doing this, but pushups....gotta work on those, shouldnt be too hard...
