I have nightmares almost everyday, I'm used to them. I've had them for years, since I was 11

I also have trouble sleeping at night. I am up every night until at least 4am, even though i usually have to get up at 7am. I've gotten to the point where I think its great if I get 4-5 hours of sleep.

As for nightmares, closest nightmares I have are of past relationships that failed. Except in the dream, its us together happy or in the dream I go through the breakup again. So they aren't nightmares per se, but nevertheless, they can hit you pretty hard when you wake up.

sleep problems are lame. Especially when self-inflicted like "it's only 3:35 i'm gonna wait till 4 to brush my teeth". That happens way too much.

relationships are gay. i'm tired of effort.

I used to have sleeping problems at first due to worrying about big exams comming up and needing to study, but i would just lay there. Later on It had gotten to the point where I normally go to bed around 2-3 am regardless if i have an upcomming test or not. Since I don't want to get on sleep medication, I've been drinking one beer or a glass of wine a night to help me relax. I usually don't remember my dreams, but i havn't woken up with a cold sweat for some time...

I think that might be be a big part of my problem. I'm usually up fairly late doing homework (1-2AM), so stress could play a huge part. On days where I have 100% downtime, I can get anywhere from 10-14 hours of sleep.

I don't know if drinking as a relax will help me... I'm more of a binge drinker, but it's something to think about.

Weird.

I like Leopard a lot. I've had pretty much no problems with it so far.
