I got a whole bunch of left over Christmas money that I'm supposed to spend on music.
I've bought the Daft Punk: Alive, Shiny Toy Guns: We Are Pilots, Telefon Tel Aviv: Farenheit Fair Enough, and I donated a bit to Radiohead to get In Rainbows.
I've enjoyed all of these albums thoroughly. Got any suggestions? I'm fairly open when it comes to music.
List your favorite band, and then some stuff you think I might enjoy.

The bands were pretty good.
I wasn't much of a fan of any of the vocals...I feel a bit like I'm watching an episode of the O.C when I hear The Bravery or The Shins.
Supernova, if I've got the band correct, is absolutely hilarious with their song "Chewbacca". However, unfortunately, it wasn't enough to convince to buy the album, I many still buy the single from iTunes if they happen to be listed.

My second favorite band is The Paper Chase. I'd reccomend... Well, any of their albums really. I suppose my favorite is "Now You Are One Of Us."
And my favorite rapper is Sage Francis. All of his stuff is good too, but some of his best stuff is on the albums "Personal Journals," "A Healthy Distrust," and "Human The Death Dance."
Ballin. So far your post has been the most helpful, regardless of whether or not I've had a chance to hear any of the music.

Hrm. Not a big fan after listening to a couple on Youtube.
I found the vocals were scratchy, and it seemed extremely similar to Three Days Grace with the melodies, styles, and musical patterns in the chorus/melody timing.
